She has performed nearly 7000 cornea grafting surgeries. She is trained in America in the best universities,Spain and England , under the best teachers and got the super specialization in the field of cornea ,microsurgery and eye banking,She has conducted many training programmes for cornea surgeons at national and international level ,including at American academy of ophthalmology conference ,She has also presented many papers and research articals in her field of specialization at various national and international conferences and is a life-time member of Ophthalmologic Associations . She was a professor of cornea and ophthalmology at Western regional M& J Institute of ophthalmology , Gujarat university, There fore she has trained more then 700 ophthalmologists and allied branch students with in a span of 25 years of her carrier. Now she is heading Cornea foundation since last 9 years. She has International awards like W.HO award. Queen Victoria Island east award, Indo Japan ophthalmological society award, international travel trainy fellow ship award. and nearly 30 national awards. She is regularly invited as a guest speaker at various seminars held all over the country and also to demonstrate live surgeries at various national and international conferences. Social Services- She is associated with the ICLRE trust to provide eye care to the needy patients all over Gujarat state.
