This examination conducted on 3 stages: Stage 1: Preliminary examination.(compulsory papers) Objective type questions for 400 marks (2 papers) G.S. paper –paper 1 Aptitude -paper 2 Stage 2: Main examination Subjective type questions for 1750 marks Total 9 papers: English and language paper only for qualifying purpose.(300M each) Rest 7 papers counted for merit 1750 marks. Stage 3: Interview Personality test for 275 marks Its compulsory to clear all the 3 stages to be a civil servant though it is considered a top most and toughest examination.Recruits for 25 services under union public service examination.
