ALCHEMY KIDS THEATRE CLUB (AKTC) offers Certificate in Theatre - Grade 1 & 2 This is an annual training program with sessions being conducted every Monday, Wednesday & Friday after school hours. The number of kids per batch is restricted to only 20 kids per year which helps focus on each child and helps the child bloom with confidence in a progressive pattern. Established in 2003 the Theatre Club has been educating and entertaining children with resonant, engaging and exciting theatre. The training is focused at developing the self confidence in children, helping them to be more expressive and innovative. Children are taken through highly interactive sessions filled with fun and entertainment which makes the learning process very enjoyable. The training is also planned well with assessment parameters which will help assess the progress of a child at regular intervals. There will be a quarterly interaction with parents updating them on the progress of their child. The annual training program at the theatre club culminates with a theatre production. The children are involved in every aspect of the theatre production right from script to costumes, sets, sound, lights, direction, casting, voice recording at dubbing theatres. Theater plays makes for smarter, braver, human beings. Theater helps connect the head to the heart. Theater also connects to the importance of reading. A play has the ability to jump a story off the page and bring it to life. This can be a revelation to regular bookworms, but also a real boon to reluctant readers.
