“Flying Start” was started on April 2007. W. Vijay Kumar and Capt. V. Nagarajan ‘Kirthi Chakra’ designed the course to train Ab-initio pilots and took over a year to arrive at a suitable program to train students. “Flying Start” aims to cater to aspiring student pilots. We impart the much-needed skills for piloting which puts the students ahead of other students at their flight school. To impart this knowledge “SIMULATORS” are used to educate them. In the comfort of an air conditioned room one can learn to fly. Most of the activities associated with flying can be learnt on ground. The training is also cost effective and saves time and energy. The hardware for the simulators are as close to the real ones you find in an airplane and consists of the yoke/rudder pedals and the throttle quadrant on a multi screen display.
