V.K. Chandra Mohan, the Chief Executive is a Commerce Graduate from the University of Bombay and an ardent player of Tennis. From being a Bank employee during 1977-84, he has grown to the present status of an Industrialist–cum–Businessman from 1984 onwards and continues to grow. Chief Executive is a Member of the Builders’ Association of India and the Architectural Aluminium Association of Southern India. Galwindoors started as an Aluminium anodising unit in the suburbs of Madras, in 1984. The Unit mainly carried out job works in Aluminium anodising. Quality and hard work supported the growth of the company. It is now situated in the Central part of Madras. Even the Madras International Airport had requisitioned Galwindoors metal finishing work for its arrival/departure areas in 1985.
