Star Worldwide Movers was formed in January 1996, as a consequence of the restructuring of one of India’s foremost family owned moving groups. The Mithals family business has its origins sometime in the late 50s, when the late Mr. Jag Mithal, former Chairman of the Board at Star, who at the time, while being primarily involved in a Company handling travel and general cargo freight forwarding services, started to provide value addition to his customers, by taking care of the logistics and transportation of their personal & household effects that needed to be packed & shipped.
